The Oar House was a bar and grill from the 70's located at 502 S. 11th St. in the Old Market (where Spaghetti Works is located currently. It's name was a tounge-in-cheek soundalike to "The Whore House" as it's logo featured a scantily-clad woman rowing a boat once again driving it home what the joke was.

Husband: “Hey honey I’m stopping by the Oar House after work”.
Wife: "The WHAT house?
*Hilarity ensues*
